Let Me Score Your Film

It's as simple as that. I want to score your film. You should let me do it.

Why

Joeelefante.com/music offers up a bevy of sonic auditions for your film score. I have others, too, if you'd like to hear them. I think you'll find the quality and diversity of the work attractive enough to give me a shot.

If you are a student or budding film-maker, and have virtually no budget for your film, that is OK with me. We can work something out, I'm sure. Present all offers.

You should let me score your film. Everybody wins. I gain more experience scoring for film, you get a great soundtrack to your picture, and the world gets a wonderful work of art to enjoy.

I am offering a special, one-time deal to my friends and fans only. I have just completed work on an 8-minute, very modern, very challenging piece for wind ensemble. E-mail me at joeelefante@joeelefante.com and I will be happy to supply with you a free PDF of the score to view, an MP3 file to listen to (a very rough MIDI playback), and a MIDI/Sibelius file of the piece to open, view, edit and print as you wish. I will be happy to print larger scores and parts on request for only the cost of printing.

I feel this piece is perfect for a very strong high school wind ensemble, a college ensemble, or a very good community band. Please take advantage of this opportunity. It would obviously behoove me to have a quality wind ensemble perform my music, but I honestly believe this a great opportunity to for an ambitious ensemble to acquire a new and interesting work for their catalog. In addition, I promise to come and rehearse and/or observe a rehearsal of the piece at no charge, assuming it is in the NYC area.

"Concert for Band" - rough MIDI playback

For those of you who don't conduct or perform in a concert band - I'm unsatisfied with the working title of the piece, "Concert for Band". If you care to help me out, press the play button above to listen, and you can take a stab at naming the piece. E-mail me your suggestions at joeelefante@joeelefante.com, and my favorite of your suggestions will be chosen as the published title of the piece.

In case you're wondering, any of you can play an MP3 file, but only those of you with Sibelius will be able to play a Sibelius file.  MIDI files can be opened by any music software.
